Primrose League 1897 Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee reversible ladies badge

A very rare original 'Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee celebration reversible ladies pin brooch'; gilt studded surround, the obverse shows a conventional primrose with 'PL' to the centre and motto 'Imperium Et Libertas', the reverse swivels to display an embossed portrait of Queen Victoria within title surround 'DIAMOND JUBILEE '1837 - 1897', maker's details to the rim 'W.O.Lewis Birmingham'. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example. Height 33mm.
