WW2 City of Wakefield War Service home front badge West Yorkshire

A very scarce original circa Second World War 1940's period 'City of Wakefield War Service pin badge'; gilt diamond shape blue enamel title, fleur-de-lys within blue embossed shield to centre on gilt ground, from the old 'City of Wakefield Coat of Arms' granted in 1932; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini Bradford'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel complete, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example. Height approx 28mm.
