Webley & Scott Gunmakers officially numbered works factory badge

A very rare original circa 1940's period 'Webley & Scott worker factory lapel badge'; small gilt brass rectangular shaped example inlaid with black enamel and depicting a gilt flying bullet inscribed 'W & S'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Ltd Bradford Works Birmingham' and official issue number '449'. Very good condition, compete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Size: approx 27 x 11mm.
