A scarce original Second World War period 'Cheshire Royal Infirmary Training School nurses hospital badge' in the form of a plain cross with single embossed wheatsheaf to the centre; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1941, maker's details 'JF' (James Fenton) and inscribed to the recipient 'M.JACKSON 12.3.1940 10.3.44.'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings with unusual safety catch, no stress marks or damage to the enamel. Height approx 26mm.
