Primrose League Empire and Liberty Loyalty 1914 -1918 Medal

A rare original circa First World War period 'Primrose League Loyalty 1914 - 1918 Medal'; large gilt patriotic enamelled example in the form of a Imperial Crowned white enamel circlet with motto 'Imperium et Libertas' (Empire and Liberty) the centre depicting a 'PL' Primrose flower on blue enamel ground, red enamel scroll below 'LOYALTY 1914 -1918' Good condition, complete with original silk ribbon, suspension ring with old RESTORATION, stain marks to primrose possibly caused by repair. Height with ribbon approx 93mm.
