A very scarce original circa 1970 period 'Women's Royal Naval Service Chief Wren Cap badge'; fine quality blue silk embroidered padded Elizabeth II example, numbered to reverse. Very good unissued condition. Height approx 79mm. The WRNS had its own ranking system, which it retained until amalgamation into the Royal Navy in 1993.
