WW1 The Sailors' Day Flag fundraising sellers badge circa 1916

A scarce original First World War circa 1916 period 'The Sailors' Day lapel badge'; gilt brass anchor with blue enamel title oval surround, bold red, white and blue patriotic Union (Jack) Flag to centre. Very good condition, complete with original horseshoe lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel, light scratch marks to surface, gilt finish remains bright. Height 38mm.
