U.S. Garisson Cap 599th Field Artillery Battalion - Nice Used Condition

Original mounted U.S. Garisson Cap. Fitted with artillery red piping and mounted with a 599th Field Artillery Battalion shield. The garisson cap is in nice used condition with a small hole on the top of the cap. There is no visible size mark, yet I would estimate a size 7 1/2. During world war two the 599th Field Artillery Battalion was attached to the 92nd Infantry Division that participated in the Italian Campaign.
