A rare original First World War period '1915 Bristol Volunteer Training Corps badge' small gilt brass circular convex example, Crowned crossed rifles '1915 BRISTOL' between the stocks with 'VTC' across the centre, these feature inlaid with black enamel; the reverse impressed with embossed maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt & Son Ltd London' Very good condition, complete with original horseshoe fitting, enamel intact. Diameter 22mm.
