Shepton Mallet Wheelers Cycle Club badge Somerset

A scarce original circa 1940's vintage period ' Cycling Club badge' gilt brass example in the form of an embossed winged cycle wheel 'C C' letters on either side, resting within a blue enamel horseshoe title scroll, the reverse impressed 'BCM / HINDS'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Height 25mm.
