A good original Second World War period 'London & North Eastern Railway war service badge', brass oval displaying a locomotive train and 'L.N.E.R.' in relief; with blue enamel 'Railway Service' bar across the centre; the reverse with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Ltd B'Ham' and officially stamped with issue number 'E31582'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel. Width 33mm.
