Primrose League Honorary Knight of the League political badge

A good original Victorian 'Primrose League Knight or Honorary Knight of the League badge', enamelled primrose within gilt voided surround, bearing the Latin motto of the League 'Imperium Et Libertas' (Empire and liberty) and 'PL' monogram, the reverse impressed with maker's logo 'three small triangles, 'T & JB' (T & J Bragg Ltd Birmingham), 'Rd 41562' registered, design and patent number for the year 1886. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole stud fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Height 31mm.
