Brightlingsea Sailing Club 1950 hallmarked silver burgee flag badge Colchester Essex

A scarce original fine quality 1950 period 'Brightlingsea Sailing Club burgee pennant shaped silver and enamel pin brooch' inlaid with dark blue enamel and depicting a Bee; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1950 and maker's details 'D&S' (Possibly A H Darby & Sons). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, with safety roller catch in good working order, no damage to the enamel. Width approx 36mm.
