1939 - 1945 War Medal

A good original period 'Second World War 'Campaign War Medal 1939 -1945' full size cupro-nickel example in very good condition and complete with long original silk ribbon. Diameter 36mm. Entitlement was granted to all fulltime personnel of the armed forces wherever they were serving, so long as they had served for at least 28 days between 3 September 1939 and 2 September 1945 were eligible for this medal. It was granted in addition to the campaign stars and the Defence Medal.
