Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II June 1953 Lanark Scotland souvenir badge

A scarce original circa '1953 Coronation souvenir'; a gilt brass Crowned title circlet the centre displaying the 'EIIR Royal Cypher' with patriotic red, white and blue enamel rays issuing from the base, the reverse impressed in relief 'County Council of Lanark 1953'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact, some minor surface scratches, gilt finish remains bright. Height 43mm.
