Description

A British 1940 Pattern Battle Dress period conversted into a NCO/Officers type jacket with openfolded collar. The battle dress jacket compromises a size 10 and is makers marked L Wolff & Co and 1945 dated. The jacket is original moutented with printed Royal Artillery shoulder tittles and Royal Artillery white lanyard and Royal Artillery Arm-of-service strips. It clearly shows that the Sergeant stripes have been removed from the jacket. The jacket shows some clear age and minor usage and moth damage. With the jacket comes provenance of the soldier. Various documents named to Sergeant G.W. Knight. Documents include army release documents, portrait picture, pair of embroided uniform removed shoulder titles, school recommendation, Identity card, enlistement notice dated 3 september 1941 and document of receiving 5 campaign medals from world war two. A fantastic piece of history that for this reason cannot be upgraded!
