Robertsons pre-war Golly Tennis player badge circa 1936

A very rare original pre-war 'Robertson's Tennis Golly badge' wearing yellow v-neck waistcoat and displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred', the reverse impressed in relief with a 'REGd APPd 808488' a Registration, Design and Patent for the year 1936 and with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'Ham.18'. Very good condition, complete with original coiled pin fitting and hooked catch, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. An excellent example. Height 34mm.
