Albert Cycling Club 1901 hallmarked silver winged wheel shield badge

A rare original Victorian period membership badge for 'Albert Cycling Club,' large silver shield surmounted by a winged cycle wheel and diagonal title in blue and red enamelling; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1901 and maker's details 'W.D.J' William James Dingley). Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting, no damage to the enamel, a splendid example. Height 47mm.
