British Red Cross Society 1914-1918 war service medal

A good original full sized unnamed gilt medal as issued in 1920, the obverse with Red Cross within laurel wreath and title surround 'British Red Cross Society For War Service 1914-1918', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' to the bar and Latin motto 'Inter Arma Caritas' (In War, Charity). Very good clean condition, complete with original silk ribbon and suspension bar with pin fittings.Medal Diameter 32mm.Overall Height 77mm
