A rare original post circa 1935 'On with the show advertising song badge' in the form silver plated cut out representation of the 'The Pavilion Theatre, Blackpool with billboard 'Lawrence Wright's On With The Show' inlaid with red enamel; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St. B'Ham 18'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, an excellent example. Height 15mm. Width 38mm. Lawrence Wright was a British popular music composer and publisher and from 1924 until 1956 he became the promoter for the record-breaking 'On With The Show' musical at the Pavilion Theatre, North Pier, Blackpool.
