Meltonian Shoe Cream character figure advertising badge by H.W. Miller

A scarce original gilt and enamel 'Meltonian Cream' advertising badge, depicting a gentleman in morning dress sporting a top hat and monocle, standing on a jar of 'Meltonian' shoe cream, the reverse with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'Ham.18' and 'Copyright'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel. Height 29mm. 'Meltonian Cream E.Brown & Son Ltd, Cricklewood, London.'
