Description

A scarce original First World War period 'Royal Flying Corps darkened brass cap badge' with fine detail. Very good condition, complete with original two loop fittings and split pin. Height 44mm. On the 13 April 1912 King George V signed a royal warrant establishing the 'Royal Flying Corps. The 'RFC' and the RNAS 'Royal Naval Air Service' merged on 1st April 1918 to form the 'Royal Air Force'.
