A scarce original circa 1936 to 1949 chromium plated issue 'London & North Eastern Railway Police LNER senior officer uniform collar badge'; chromium plated company shield crest bearing 'FORWARD' scroll below. Good condition, the reverse complete with original two loop fitting and split pin, minimal service wear. Height approx 27mm. London & North Eastern Railway Police formed in 1921, this example worn by Inspectors and above, in white metal until 1936 and then in chromium plated finish until 1949.
