Robertsons Golly bagpiper white waistcoat advertising badge F&S B'HAM

A good original circa 1950's period 'Robertson's Bagpiper Golly promotional pin badge', with small feet wearing a white waistcoat, bright blue coat and displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' on Scottish bagpipe bag under golden translucent enamel, the reverse impressed in relief with maker's details 'F&S B'HAM' (Fattorini & Sons, Birmingham) in bold lettering. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, minor scratch mark to gilt finish which remains bright and retaining some of the original manufacturers bloom to the head, easily removed. Height approx 34mm.
