A scarce original post 1966 cold war period period 'WRVS ORGANISER pin badge'; gilt brass oval example inlaid with green enamel; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Sutton Badge Co. Coldfield. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Width 39mm. Height 20mm. The WVS 'Women's Voluntary Service' became the WRVS 'Women's Royal Voluntary Services' in 1966.
