A good original circa 1950's period 'RNLI Ladies Life Boat Guild membership badge', the gilt brass shield bearing the 'Royal National Lifeboat Institution' logo with pre 1953 'King's Crown' to the centre of the red cross; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Caxton Kew Surrey'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height 30mm. Royal National Lifeboat Institution 'RNLI Ladies Life-Boat Guild was founded in 1921.
