A scarce original circa pre 1953 period 'Royal National Lifeboat Institution RNLI Ladies Guild medal'; the gilt shield bearing the 'Royal National Lifeboat Institution' logo with 'King George VI Crown' to the centre of the red cross, suspended from a navy blue silk ribbon and COMMITTEE bar; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Caxton Kew Surrey'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height approx 60mm.
