Robertsons pre-war 1928 Jolly Golly Golfer promotional badge

A rare original circa 1928 period 'Robertson's Jolly Golly Golfer pin badge'; no line between lips, yellow waistcoat with pockets, creases on upper sleeve and displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Miller 18 Branston St B'Ham REG 729136' a Registration, Design and Patent for the year 1927. Good condition, complete with original coiled pin fittings and hook catch, minor stress lines to both legs, otherwise no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Height 34mm.
