A scarce original circa 1960's period 'British Overseas Airways Corporation Stewardess gilt metal brevet wing badge', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Manhattan Windsor'. Very good condition, complete with original early pattern screw post fittings now with only one retaining catch. Price reflects. Width approx 37mm. British Overseas Airways Corporation was formed in 1939, BOAC and BEA merged in 1974 to become British Airways.
