WW1 1914-1915 Canadian Red Cross Society VISITOR pin badge

A scarce original First World War period British made 'Canadian Red Cross Society 1914-1915 pin badge'; curved white enamel 'VISITOR' suspension bar from which depends a blue enamel gilt title circlet, the centre displaying a white 'Maple Leaf' bearing red cross on red enamel ground, all this held steady by a maroon silk ribbon attachment. Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, minimal service wear. Diameter 31mm. Height 42mm.
