Description

A good original First World War period 'Silver War Badge official issue number 'B176134' unmarked silver circlet inscribed 'For King And Empire Services Rendered' bearing crowned 'GRI' Imperial Cypher to voided centre. Very good condition, complete with pin fittings Diameter 33mm. Silver War Badge B176134 was awarded to 205010 Corporal William Youngman . He enlisted into the Army Service Corps on the 4th August 1914 and was discharged with the award of this badge on the 22nd January 1918. He did not serve overseas and this is his only WW1 entitlement.
