Naval Nurses Queen Alexandra's monogramed belt buckle c.1965

A scarce original circa 1965 period simply made 'Naval Nurses belt buckle'; chromium plated example, the centre depicting plain crossed 'A' monogram on seeded ground, within polished rim and loops. Good condition, minor service wear to chromium finish on detachable side. Height 46mm. 'Naval Nursing Auxiliary' was approved in 1959, the name 'Auxiliary' was dropped in 1965 and members of the organisation became known as 'Naval Nurses'
