WW1 On War Service 1914 munition workers badge by Tiptaft & Son A99407

A good original First World War period official issue munition workers circular gilt badge with central Crown within title surround 'On War Service 1914' inlaid with dark blue enamel, the reverse impressed with scarce maker's details 'Tiptaft & Son Ltd Birmingham' and official issue number 'A99407'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Diameter 26mm.
