A scarce original circa Second World War period '3rd Carpathian Rifle Division silver plated badge'; miniature Monte Cassino motif cross bearing pine tree to the centre, 'DSK 3' (Dywizja Strzelcow Karpackich) across top arm, crowned eagle with two bayonets emerging from half moon on lower. Good condition, complete with screw back fitting and original nut with maker's details 'F.M.Lorioli. Milano, Roma.', wear to silver plating. Height approx 22mm.
