A scarce original wartime period 'Middlesex Welfare & Comforts fund pin badge'; cream enamel title surround, ornate red sheild to centre displaying the County Arms being a Saxon crown over three seaxes, with two edge scrolls 'S.S. & A.' (Soldiers Saliors & Airmen). the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St. Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Diameter 25mm.
