Federation of Essex Women's Institutes WI badge

A scarce original circa 1940's period 'Federation of Essex Women's Institutes pin badge'; gilt brass laurel circlet, red enamel title surround, the central red shield displaying three seaxes from the Arms of Essex (granted in 1925) on green enamel ground. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Diameter 25mm.
