Original era manufacture. Japanese WWII Type 30 bayonet and metal scabbard. Kokura arsenal mfg.Bright finish blade with fullers, hooked guard, round birdhead pommel and smooth finish contoured wood grips.The blade displays a mottled surface from staining but no real corrosion issues, factory sharpened edge with a sharp point. Cleaned steel patina finish to the guard and pommel. Original finish wooden grips with a chip out of one side. Steel patina finish scabbard with evidence of old cleaned corrosion finish. Overall honest service use and wear.
