1900 Lingfield Park horse racing club badge

A rare original Victorian gentlemens '1900 Lingfield Park horse racing club membership gilt and enamel badge', the reverse with maker's details 'Crighton Bros 22 Old Bond St. W' and impressed with official low issue number '59'. Very good condition, complete with repacement ring fitting, cord now absent, gilt finish remains bright. Kempton Park Racecourse, Sunbury-on-Thames opened for horse racing in 1878.
