WW2 Duchess of Northumberlands Comforts Fund for the ATS pin badge

A scarce original circa 1939 wartime period 'Auxiliary Territorial Service comforts fund workers badge'; large gilt brass example, yellow enamel Duchess of Northumberlands title circlet bearing her device, surmounting laurel sprays with pale blue enamel centre inscribed 'Comforts Fund ATS'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Regent St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Height approx 37mm.
