1915 Recruiting Staff Glamorgan Area badge headquarters Cardiff Wales

A rare original First World War period '1915 Recruiting Staff lapel badge'; gilt blue enamel title surround, the centre bearing GLAMORGAN 45th on white enamel ground, the reverse impressed with unusual maker's details 'Low Chester'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, minor flaws and surface scratches to the enamel, Diameter approx 31mm. The Welsh '41st Glamorganshire Recruiting Area' address in 1915 was situated at '27 Bute Street Cardiff, Wales'.
