US WWI M1917 Bolo Knife, Plumb 1918, Canvas & Leather Scabbard, Named

Original era manufacture. Right out of an old collection is this very clean example of the US Model 1917 Bolo Knife, Plumb manufacture and dated 1918. Most of the original dark finish remains on the blade, never sharpened. Original finish rough hewn grips in very sound condition. Wooden, rawhide covered sheath with a tan canvas, leather tipped covering, unusual maker marked A-K Co 1918. Named on the edge of the scabbard to Lt. J.C. Sullivan.
