Port of London Authority officers gold bullion cap badge on band

A good original circa 1950's 'Port of London Authority officer's cap badge'; gold wire bullion Naval Crowned laurel wreath, the centre portraying a sea-lion without a a trident, the reverse with black cotton herringbone pattern lining, complete with woollen cap band. Very good condition, bullion remains bright. Height approx 72mm.
