Civil Defence Corps lady volunteer pin badge c1949 to 1953

A good original Cold War period gilt and enamel lady volunteer pin badge, King George VI Crowned title circlet 'Civil Defence Corps' on blue enamel ground, enclosing the 'Royal Lion of England' central device, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.M Ltd' (H.W.Miller Ltd). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height 27mm.
