Civil Defence home front lapel badge

A good original circa post war period 'Civil Defence volunteer lapel badge'; small silver plated oval bearing 'C D' initials on blue enamel ground, surmounted by a King's Crown. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel. Height 20mm.
