US Navy Bu Aero Flying Helmet.

This is a rare and hard to find pre WWII issue US Navy Bu Aero leather flying helmet. It is in used very good condition. It is a medium size helmet. Includes a fully functional chin strap assembly. Chamois lined and marked in bold letters on the inside, “U.S.N.” Pre war helmets were made in small numbers and thus today are very hard to find in any condition. This rates excellent overall condition. The helmet has been personalised by the Aviator, with his name (a little hard to make out) and dates of Naval Bases, he was stationed at,1932- 1938 !
