Robertsons pre war Golly Hockey Player badge circa 1936

A rare original pre-war circa 1936 'Robertson's Hockey Player Golly badge', displaying white hands and black feet, wearing a yellow V-neck waistcoat displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' and with green bar between feet; the reverse impressed in relief with a 'REGd 808465' a Registration, Design and Patent for the year 1936 and maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'Ham.18'. Good condition, complete with original coiled pin fitting and hooked catch, gilt finish remains bright, enamal with minor stress marks to right leg, head with HEAVY OVAL KNOCK, not showing up very well in photograph.
