British Red Cross Proficiency in First Aid Medal c.1950's

A good original circa 1955 to 1959 period gilt and enamel 'British Red Cross Society Proficiency in First Aid unnamed medal' with four additional year bars 1955, 1957, 1958, 1959, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' 'Rd No 629266'. Very good condition complete with original ribbon and suspension bar with pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Height appox 118mm. 'British Red Cross Society Proficiency in Red Cross First Aid badge' Instituted 1914, Discontinued 1968.
