British Red Cross Proficiency in Nursing Medal 1952 to 1958 clasps

A good original 1951 to 1958 period gilt and enamel 'British Red Cross Society Proficiency in Nursing medal' with six additional bars, the reverse with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' 'Rd No 629266' and inscribed to the recipient '1851 M.Wood'. Very good condition complete with original ribbon and suspension bar with pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Height 94mm. 'British Red Cross Society Proficiency in Red Cross Nursing badge' Instituted 1914 and Discontinued 1968.
