Dock Wharf Riverside & General Workers trade union badge c1889 to 1922

A scarce original circa 1889 to 1922 mid period 'Dockers Union' badge for the 'Dock, Wharf, Riverside & General Workers' Union'; circular gilt brass example with title circlet inlaid with dark blue enamel, the centre bearing a white enamelled six pointed star, handshake across globe and motto 'Each for All, All for Each' to the points; the reverse impressed with early maker's details 'THOMAS FATTORINI BOLTON' and 'REGd DESIGN'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, two very minor manufacturers firing flaws. Diameter 25mm.
