WW2 Leicestershire Special Constabulary police lapel badge

A good original circa Second World War period 'Leicestershire Special Constabulary police badge', Crowned gilt brass blue enamel title circlet, Leicestershire County Arms to centre, bearing the motto 'FOR'ARD FOR'ARD' granted in 1930; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, enamel with minor defects, gilt finish remains bright. Height 34mm.
